Ah moving day has arrived!
Ok so the blogging :)
I am having an absolute shocker as far as training goes. But as for life, its not doing so bad!
I went for a ride yesterday with Curtis on my mountain bike Geraldine (I dont know why these bikes have old fashioned womens names...) Poor Geraldine, doesnt have gears or brakes that work very well, so there is a bit of feet being put down on the ground action...anywhoo...went riding after work out around the cycleway past west gosford and to woy woy and back...not to bad a ride, took it pretty easy for chunks of it though, but there are a few steep little pinches, which would normally have not mattered but on the bike with no gears that is a bit small for me...it was challenging!
Oh yesterday I also slept in...I was meant to be at work at 8...i woke up at 7:30...i live an hour and a half from work and hadnt put my bike on my car at that stage...the math is not looking promising...
speaking of math! (as we obviously were) does anyone remember that cool Mathnet show with Kate Monday and george foley and they would solve complicated math problems like the missing dirt etc....i think it was part of square one tv...god i am a nerd arent i? "Smog so thick you could cut it with a cliche" That impressed me as a child...
So today! I fully intended getting up at 5 and running....yeah didnt happen...then i took my running gear with me to syd (where i was supposed to be helping to move my sister) and then ended up having an awesome lunch with a friend, which turned into beer and so the running didnt happen...( I would much prefer the beer anyday anyway...) so it has been another day without training....
I have to take my client to the gym tommorrrow so i might get a light brick session in before racing on saturday! Am off to syd for the weekend (oooh big smoke) and am doing the whole Mars Volta (so cool!!!!) thing tommorrow night, racing sat and then off to the Nigel Kennedy plays Vivaldi at the opera house...so much fun to be had!
Best get my beauty sleep then :)
