a llittle better :)
ok. well i had a week off training. that was strange. but i went for a ride last night on hilary following the complete bastard of a day.
it felt so good! it was like getting on a bike with a brand new set of legs, but which already had the muscles to make the bike go fast. it had been raining and it was dark, so it was nice and quiet and cool and i was just able to ride and not have to worry about pedestrians or traffic. I had a cat run out in front of me though....
thats one of the things which i love so much about riding is that i can turn off my brain and push mayself hard whilst thinking about whatever is bugging me...after about 10 minutes i had calmed right down and was singing to the good people of carrington. I am thinking a light may be a good idea so i can do this more often, I like it.
I probably ended up covering about 10k, i dont really know how long i ran for, i just had to do something :) feel better for it, although the stomach is still giving me alot of grief and am still swallowing copius amounts of neurofen....
what made my day much better was coming home to smiles though :)
