Its My Birthday!
Ok so lets play with my favourite thing - numbers! :)
24 - number of years i am today
110-number of minutes i ran for this morning
10- number of friends who called me this morning to wish me happy birthday
1- number of bike rides i have been on in the last 2 weeks because of rain
20- number of people who have called me a freak following the half marathon announcement
1- number of chris issak cds i got for my birthday
8- number of friends coming to have dinner with me.
1- number of people i will gain some kind of birthday kiss from
I like numbers!

Happy Birthday! You ran that far on your birthday? Freak! Just kidding.....I've probably been called a freak that many times since I got into this triathlon caper as well.

... hey, if the Amanda you refer to is working in a beauty salon, or doing some hairdressing somewhere (or more likely, lots of drinking and dancing), then of course I remember her!! She's a whole heap of fun, and I'd love it if you pass on a big hi to her!
Ask her what her flame-haired Aunty's up to now? Does A still have the horses up at Stockton/Saltash?

oh - NOW, I think I know which amanda this might be. I worked with a Carole up at Forster for a few years, and Amanda was just finishing school I think (this was back around 1991-95?). If so, then yes I remember her too of course - in fact, other than the horses bit, you could almost describe her the same way I described the other amanda ;)
hmmm ... ask her whether she or her mum remembers Matty Diver? Hope her mum's still well. She and I made a good planning team back then :)
