Busy, Busy, Busy

Well, over the last couple of weeks, i have been flat out like a lizard drinking, dancing like a cat on a hot tin roof and whatever other things you can come up with!

Between work, my uni degree, trying to train and having a partner who lives 300km away it has been all very challenging, and I swear just two more hours in the day and I would be set! Yep, just two more...Im not greedy, but at the moment my days look like this....

6am - Training
8am - Work
5pm - Uni
9pm - Home
10pm- Bed

Its all crazy, although with only 27 hours of coursework left to do, I am getting very excited about the prospect of having my summer nights all for myself! Bike riding etc!

On the upside, my physio seems to be working and is much more effective than my chiro was, and she has been giving me exercises to make a difference which makes me practice etc and therefore getting better! I am still not allowed to swim though, she said this morning that after my appointment next week, we can see how I am doing and if it is going to be an option...That in mind, I am thinking that the Maitland Tri may be a bit ambitious, for lots of reasons, least of which that I am struggling to find time to train...For you guys who have done it before, how hard is the swim? And is it potentially something that I can do with little training?

Mmm. So thats where I am at...spent last weekend working in Canberra, which meant that no training happened, and then my computer blew up on Tuesday with an assignment due wed meaning nothing happened then either....
Thursday - 10min stair training
- 30min high RPM on the Indoor Trainer (must be coming into summer...was sweating agin!)

Friday - Tonight I will go for a run, and tommorrow morning a ride....hopefully with the Tri Club if I can manage it!

My good news feeling about this morning was that one of the guys who volunteers for us, who is a massive cycling fan turned around to me and said "you know I reckon laziness is your problem, you would be an awesome cyclist if you put your mind to it!" that made me feel all warm and fuzzy, if not a little inspired!
